It is so important that we take the necessary steps to live a positive life. It must be intentional and doing things for ourselves is key. I found a recipe for a honey carrot face mask that will leave you feeling great. You can make a small change in a day. If you change Wednesday, then you change Thursday. Pretty soon it's a week, then a month, then a year. It's little by little, as opposed to feeling like you have to turn your life inside out to make changes. it.

• 2 organic carrots steamed until soft. (Mash them until they’re creamy like mashed potatoes.) • Add 1 tbsp. of raw or manuka honey to your carrots. (Honey is anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and brings moisture to your skin. It also softens your skin and helps the other ingredients penetrate the skin). •To the carrot/honey mixture add in 1 tbsp. of coconut, olive or avocado oil. (These oils really are excellent for nourishing and cleaning the skin without stripping it). • Lastly, add a few drops of grapefruit or lemon juice into the mixture. (If your mask is too thick at this point, just add enough water to give a consistency that is neither too thick or too runny).

Apply this rich mixture on your face after it has been cleansed. Avoid your eye area just like using any other kind of mask. Allow it to remain on your face for about 10 minutes. Rinse your face with warm water and pat dry.

Apply your favorite moisturizer. Your skin will be soft and beautiful. With regular use (about once a week), don’t be surprised if you have your friends asking you what you’re doing to your face!

Suggestion: apply the mixture to a small portion of your skin first to see how it reacts to the ingredients.
